I love this service. For many years have been using the frozen meals. I saw an ad, & tried it. The taste was really excellent. The meals are freshly prepared and cooked so you can have a week of delicious dinners or salads which don't have that frozen taste, or having to prep the meal and cook it. The food menu changes every month. I find that I get 2 dinners out of one meal. The selection is limited, but the selections are varied and anyone should find a few meals that you will like/love each week & month. I would recommend you try them to see if you like them. I am very pleased with Avant food delivery service.
WOWEE ZOWEE! And I thought I was a good cook! Not even close to the flavor and quality of Avant. And, I love the “French Onion Chicken” and thought “I’ll copy this and make it myself for less”! It was a nice effort on my part, but a complete failure! My dish didn’t even taste anything like Avant’s and I spent $1.01 more than what they charge! Bottom line: 1) the food is terrific, 2) it’s cheaper than going out to a restaurant, including fast food, and the delivery is very convenient. The food preparation is so skilled that I'd eat dishes from Avant that I wouldn't from others. I love that it's local and that they use reusable packaging. I would prefer glass over plastic packaging but it's fine enough. I don't microwave plastic so I just transfer the food to a glass plate before microwaving. OUTDATED: One thing they could improve is getting more specific ingredient lists on the website. UPDATE: They have now updated the website with more specific ingredient lists.
Unreal. For people who struggle to find time in the day to cook and meal prep, this is an incredible life hack. Unbelievably fresh, simple ingredient dishes delivered right to your door each week. Everything I've tried off their menu is better than 8/10 restaurants I visit in SLC, and the customer service is fantastic. Everything arrives in reusable containers, so there's no waste! I can't speak highly enough of this service!
The food is great, really great. The side dishes are a great compliment to the main course. The delivery is simple. Portions are plenty. You need to use them before they expire, so we plan on having our avant- meals Sun-Wed. We also love the option to buy just the side dishes or the BBQ pulled pork. So far we tried the street taco, bbq pulled pork, beef stroganoff, and the Cuban bowl. ALL of them were perfect!

I love the taste and quick delivery. We are just trying the food delivery options for the first time. I ordered from several meal delivery services before Avant. We tried one of the Avant meals on Sunday and our entire family was impressed. My son is so impressed he told me not to look at any other service because Avant is the best. I like that we are able to finish our order on Friday and get that order on Sunday. I also like the reusable containers and that this is a local company. The portion size and cook time make Avant the best service for our family.
So, I was pretty skeptical as I am a bit of a pessimist, and a picky eater, but WOW! the food is DELICIOUS! Tonight I had the Lasagna Bolognese, my wife had the Lemon Dill Salmon, and we shared the Mediterranean Greek Salad. We did add some romaine to the salad. Everything was so FRESH! The salad has the most delicious olives we have ever had! My wife is Vietnamese and knows about seafood, she LOVED the salmon and said it was super fresh. Thanks Avant!
I’ve never ordered pre-cooked meals before, but after moving to a new state we wanted to support a local business. The meals arrive beautifully packed with clear instructions. We’re only on our third meal so far, and we’ve been thoroughly impressed. The Italian Wedding soup was delicious, the tri-tip steak cooked to perfection, and the chicken salad was fresh and tasty.
